My spring break
I had an awesome spring break this year, too. I have gone to several different places. On the first days I just relaxed in my house and practised a little bit. I was at a long weekend at Lake Balaton till 1st April. On 1st April our family was together, we celebrated the resurrection of Jesus and it was also April Fool's Day and some people made a joke on me, unfortunately. On the second day of April some boys went to the girls, they told a poem to them and sprayed them with perfume and even ”watered” them with soda or cold water. On that day I had to get dressed four times because I was doused with water. On the last day I studied for the lessons. In 2018, I had a wonderful spring break, too.

This year the spring holiday was really short. I went to church on Easter Sunday. Easter Day is the end of Lent and means the end of some people's fasting. In Hungary we fast on Good Friday. This means that we don't eat meat on that day. Many Christians celebrate Easter Sunday as the day of Jesus Christ’s resurrection. On Easter Monday I went to sprinkle the girls with perfume. Some of my classmates joined me. First, we doused the girls with soda water. It was real fun! The girls gave us painted Easter eggs and some chocolate Easter Bunnies. The weather was really nice that day. I went to ride my bike in the afternoon. We also had Tuesday off. I just relaxed and watched some videos on the net on Tuesday.

My spring break was good. We visited our relatives on Easter Day, Sunday. We ate a lot of chocolate and Easter foods like egg, ham, horse radish. On Monday morning my classmates and my friends came to my house to water me, i.e. douse me with soda water. I had to change my clothes 3 times a day. And I gave them eggs, chocolate and money. Easter is one of my favorite holidays. And on the last day of the break we went hiking. I really liked it. The only problem was that the break was too short.

This year’s spring break wasn’t really interesting. I kinda layed in my bed and surfed the net or watched TV. Oh, and I can’t forget that I studied that was the most important thing I’ve done. My family and I walked a lot around the city. And then Easter came. My second favorite holiday. I don’t know why I like it so much but maybe I love it because it means that spring is coming. Easter is such a cute holiday in other countries, but In Hungary boys spray perfume on girls or dunk water on us. Which is not so pleasant. Three of my classmates came with soda and sprayed so much on me that I was soaking wet. That was the funniest moment in my spring break. So that was my spring break.

On the first day of the holiday I was mostly at home. I watched a lot of series, listened music and read books. On the first day of Easter I had my presents (chocolate, clothes) and went to my grandparents’ house. On Monday my cousins visited us. I was really happy to see them but they drive me crazy. On Tuesday I studied for the week.

Since last year my family and I have spent our spring holidays abroad. This year we went to a Greek island called Corfu. We spent a whole week there. We really enjoyed ourselves and made a lot of memories. We saw nearly all the sights and beautiful places that were mentioned in the guidebooks.
I missed the usual family reunions, but this year I enjoyed the holiday much better.

I was very happy when the short break started, but unfortunately, it ended so fast. On the first day I watched some films and painted eggs. The following day we went to my grandmother’s place. We ate a lot, so one day I took my dog for a walk and the next day I went sightseeing with my bestie. We went to a horroristic house and then to the main square. On the last day I studied everything the I had to.

In the spring break, I spent most of my spare time at home. On the weekend, we went to visit my grandparents, uncle and aunt, and I could meet my cousins, too. We spent the weekend in Dombóvár, and because the weather was wonderful, we could go hiking together. My brother’s nameday was on Monday, so we went to the Familypark in Austria.
To sum up, I had a marvellous Easter holiday, but as always, the break was too short.

To be honest the spring break was very short. There wasn’t much time for me to do anything. On the other side, it was the period of dance competitions. I was competing in the style of hip hop. Once we reached the 2nd place in Adult B cathegory and once we got gold medal. I also had time for reading. I have read 3 books for the 4 or 5th time. Obviously, I watched a lot of films and series. One of my choice was to watch all Marvel films in cronological order. But the break was too short, so I wasn’t able to make it. I also studied a little to be prepared for school. I can’t wait for the summer break which is going to start in just 2 months!

In the spring break I visited my family members and prepared for Easter. We painted eggs and baked cake with my mother and my sister. For Easter I got a lot of chocolate and clothes from my family . My favourite part was that when I tasted the Easter ham. On Monday three of my class mates visited me because of Easter sprinkling. My clothes were so wet that I had to change them. The break passed really quickly but it was great. I read a lot and studied. Although, I had lot of fun.
